Sora Materials Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the relocation of its headquarters and the opening of its new office at STATION Ai, an open innovation hub operated by STATION Ai Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hirotaka Sahashi), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp.
About STATION Ai Opened in October 2024 south of Tsuruma Park in Nagoya, STATION Ai is one of the largest open innovation hubs in Japan. As a premier base where a significant number of partner companies and startups converge, it facilitates various initiatives, including startup commercialization support, promotion of open innovation, and the management of investment funds to provide financial support for startups.
Background of the Office Relocation Sora Materials is a startup aiming for the social implementation of ultra-lightweight material technologies to realize our vision: "Bringing the Skies Closer through Materials." We have decided to relocate our headquarters and establish our new office within STATION Ai to create and accelerate further business opportunities.

World-Class Scale: 7 Floors and 23,613 sqm of Floor Area STATION Ai is one of Japan's largest open innovation hubs, boasting seven floors above ground and a total floor area of 23,613 square meters. The 1st, 2nd, and 7th floors are designated as "Public Zones," accessible to the local community and featuring event spaces, dining areas, and accommodation facilities. The 3rd through 6th floors are "Member-Exclusive Zones," offering office spaces and lounges designed to foster networking and collaboration among diverse business operators.
2. A Slope-Based Smart Building Integrated with Cutting-Edge Technology STATION Ai incorporates advanced technologies, utilizing AI cameras and smart sensors for facial recognition systems and real-time occupancy displays throughout the facility. Additionally, the building features a unique slope-based design that connects all floors, allowing robots to navigate between levels and ensuring a barrier-free environment accessible to everyone.
3. Artworks Supervised by Heralbony Curated Throughout the Facility The facility showcases 130 artworks by 47 contracted artists from Heralbony Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Morioka City, Iwate; Co-CEOs: Takaya Matsuda and Fumito Matsuda). These unique and vibrant pieces color "STATION Ai," with the hope that they will inspire new business ideas and the creation of innovation.
