We are pleased to announce that SoraMaterial has signed a joint research agreement with Nagoya University (Tokai National Higher Education and Research System) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Space Exploration Innovation Hub for the "Study on Space Applicability of Ultra-Lightweight Materials."
In this collaborative research, we will evaluate the space applicability and functional characteristics of our proprietary ultra-lightweight materials—so light they can effectively float on air. By leveraging their multi-functionality, including thermal insulation, sound absorption, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding/absorption, we aim to achieve a new material implementation that balances significant weight reduction with high performance for next-generation space missions.
We will continue to drive the social implementation of innovative materials and contribute to the advancement of the space industry.
